Afternoon sunlight spills onto Jokhang temple, in central Lhasa. It is considered the most holy temple in all of Tibet. Everyday, from sunrise to sunset, people peform the kora around this temple, a practise whereby they walk or prostrate clockwise around the whole structure. It's a fascinating practice to watch and you can observe people from all walks of Tibetan life.
