On the road to Ganden monastery near Lhasa, a Tibetan Mastiff dog stands on a small table. Traditionally, this fearsome dog was used by farmers to protect their livestock from wolves and bears. Now, many act as props for tourists to have their photo take with, providing basic incomes for local farmers.
