The family's day revolves around a cycle of walking the streets, collecting bottles, drinking vodka, finding any food they can and just making it through the day.As the global financial crisis grips Asia, Mongolia is feeling the implications first hand as the country suffers from rising inflation pushing the price of food and fuel ever upwards. For the country’s homeless, who live in sewers and abandoned garages in the capital and already face extreme discrimination and are denied access to basic health and social care, their lives are hanging in the balance. 2008
