Flooding in Jakarta, Indonesia - Climate Change

A street seller with his cart walks past a polluted drainage channel in central Jakarta. The city’s flood defence system, built by the Dutch during their colonial period has deteriorated and is now clogged with refuse which is discarded into these water channels.
