A young girl looks out from a crowd of people who have gathered in the 'Jewel Park' (Norbulinka, in Tibetan) in central Lhasa. Each year, families meet in the park to watch traditional plays and dances as part of the Sho Dun festival which dates back to the 16th Century when people would gather to give food, especially yoghurt, to local monks.
